Creating Positive Impact
During our film shoot in May 2024 a young man who was recently released from prison was referred to our organisation. After speaking to him he opened up about being homeless at the time and sofa surfing; expressing a need for support.
Case Study 1
In October 2024 we began working with a young musician who has learning disabilities, experiences of suicidal ideation and gang crime.
Case Study 2
A young animator on benefits was referred from the jobcentre to our company.
Case Study 3
A young man who has been working with our organisation for a while took part as a videographer shooting our production where we employed him and aside from this during follow on support he was employed on other projects through partners, including the making of his first production.
Case Study 5
A young Lady referred from St Giles trust who has mental health difficulties came to the Museum of London on our shoot and after this follow on support has seen us refer her to partner organisations for contracted work and she has worked as an assistant on a number of separate productions with us to gain skills.
Case Study 4
A former psychiatric service user was onboarded as a musician for our project, recorded music for our soundtrack and performed at one of our events.
Case Study 6
A young Lady refered from the job centre was hired as an artist during our events and came to our masterclasses.
Case Study 7
A gentleman who has spent time in prison referred from the jobcentre attended our masterclasses with an idea to set up his own coffee business selling a family made coffee from Colombia.
Case Study 8
A service user from a psychiatric hospital was referred to our service and paid to make poetry and musical tracks for the Dark thoughts documentary.
