A young animator on benefits was referred from the jobcentre to our company. This young man was employed by us to create animations for the documentary and received follow on support with the design of a manga course he is creating to teach youth how to draw manga. During this time we taught him how to design workshops and collect information for research and he also received support from Two Side studios a production company when making his animations. Afterwards he attended our events, all of our masterclasses and received a reference for work experience from us and went on to work voluntarily at the cartoon museum where he is getting access to specialists, events and new knowledge (reported by him to be opening doors). Lastly the work he created with us was his first completed pieces and in order to help him showcase this for future employers we created an online page for him.
